Edu-Action™ is Rapiersharp’s unique system of personal and social education through action-based learning.
By exploring stage combat and dramatic action activities, both adults and young people can discover an inner confidence and develop new skills, not only in drama but also in the personal and social skills of trust and partnership, communication and co-ordination and in particular, self-esteem and motivation. This sense of achievement is a reward that is rare in education and the positive impact can raise personal aspirations, especially in young people.
By structuring achievable exercises using physical actions and a process of collaboration, participants can accomplish the goals set.
The Edu-Action™ system has been used in a number of schools, colleges and youth organisations throughout the UK and also at the National Young Film Makers Festival at the National Museum of Film and Television, and the Leeds Young People’s Film Festival.
Rapiersharp can provide a unique educational event for young people and adults alike. Edu-Action™ offers a dynamic learning experience where discoveries can be made and potential can be realised! To learn more, please contact Rapiersharp.
